The Prague International Airport is located about 15 km far from the city center. The center of Prague, where most of the recommended hotels are situated, can be reached by:
It is the cheapest way how to get from and to the airport. The transfer ticket costs 32 CZK (Airport Express around 50 CZK) and the ride takes about 30 minutes. Tickets can be bought at the Public Transport Information or directly from the bus driver. For getting from Prague airport to the city center you can use following buses:
Bus 119: Airport – Subway station Dejvická (line A)
Bus 119 leaves from the stop outside the Arrivals terminal and runs from 4.14 to 23.32 at night. The last station is the subway station Dejvická, where you have to change bus for a subway (line A). It will take you directly to the center – most important stations are: Malostranská station (Lesser Town), Staroměstská station (Old town), Můstek (at the bottom and middle of the Wenceslas Square) and Muzeum (at the top of the Wenceslas Square).
Bus 100: Airport – Subway station Zličín (line B)
Bus 100 leaves from the stop outside the Arrivals terminal and runs from 5:41 to 23:36 at night. This bus is recommended in case your hotel is situated near any stations of subway line B. From the Zličín station it takes about 20 minutes to get to the city center – most important stations are: Anděl (Smíchov District), Karlovo náměstí (Charles Square), Národní třída (Národní avenue), Můstek (at the bottom of the Wenceslas Square) and Náměstí republiky (Republic Square).
Airport Express Bus: Airport – Main Railway Station
The Prague International Airport is connected with the city center also by a special bus line. The last stop is the Main Railway station (subway line C). Airport Express Bus is scheduled to coincide with the arrivals and departures of most important trains.

The only recommended taxi service from and to the Prague International Airport is the AAA Radiotaxi
. Its cabs can be found at the taxi stands located directly in front of the arrivals terminal. AAA Radiotaxi offers rides for quaranteed tariff prices, according to the number of kilometres passed. Approximately price for ride to city center is 600 CZK.
Airport transfer companies
There are two shuttle companies recommended by the Prague International Airport – Airport Cars
. Both offers a door-to-door service at guaranteed fixed prices.
Hotel pickup service
Most of recommended hotels offer a 24-hour airport transfer service. Please check this option in advance.
Travelling by car:
When travelling by car, please take into account the Czech traffic regulations. The maximum allowed speed is 90 km/hr, in town 50 km/hr and 130 km/hr on motorways. When using a motorway a special fee is required. The motorway sticker can be purchased at the country border, a post office or gas station.
Travelling by train:
Most of international trains arrive at the main Wilson`s Railway Station or at Holesovice Railway Station. Both are with the city centre connected by subway line C.
